before in Outlook:
after in WordPress (https://wp.me/p8pEGQ-ac)

Why the drastic change: no div, no style. How do I fix my code so it aligns images in center? I tried ‘class=’centerimage’.

Hi there,
The site at https://www.mindfulnessbreaks.com/ is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org. We’re not able to help with this in this forum.
If you’re using the Post By Email feature included in the Jetpack plugin, you can contact Jetpack support for help here:
That said, if I look at the image’s source link on your site, https://mountainsangha.org/wp-content/uploads/type8.gif, the size it’s displaying at on your site is the actual size of the file. If you want it to display bigger than that, you need to use a bigger version of the image to start with. For this type of image I’d also recommend a .png file rather than a .gif
As for centering, using a class will only work if that class is already defined in your theme’s CSS, or if you add your own custom CSS to define that class. But the WordPress software you’re using on your site already has image centering built in – if you edit the post and click on the image you should see a pop-up toolbar that includes different alignment options for the image.
If that’s not working, you can contact support for the version of WordPress you are using here:
