Post by email, changing font size.
-
Hi everyone,
I’m currently using the benevolent theme and I’m loving everything about it, except the default font is really small (ex. when you post). I therefore usually just change the size using html when I post (ex. <span style=”font-size: medium;”>).
I’ve started posting by email though and I’m not sure how to change the font when doing this…
Looking forward to your answers (and thanks in advance!)

We can all change the size of fonts of any web page we view in our browsers. See > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/19/how-to-change-font-text-size-in-your-browser/

Changing font style on posts or pages either post by post or page by page
We wordpress.com users can change font styles and colors on our posts and pages, a post and a page at a time. http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/Changing font style and color throughout the whole blog
We cannot access the templates in our wordpress.com blogs and edit the underlying php and html. However, if we choose to pay for a CSS upgrade and undertake CSS editing then we can change font styles and colors throughout the entire blog.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/editing-css/However, this upgrade is NOT recommended to those who do not have CSS editing experience as there is no Staff support for learning it.

Thanks timethief!
I was just wondering if there was a way to make it possible to do basic html editing while posting by email like it is possible when you post from wordpress.com.
If this would be possible I could just change the font that way.
Thanks a lot and have a good day!

If your default was set to the HTML editor and you wrote the code in the email, I see no reason it wouldn’t work. In fact, that may be the only method that DOES work. But I have not tried it myself.

Raincoaster, I clicked on the html tab on create a new post and then tried to send an email with html code and it interpreted the code as plain text…
Is their another way to set the HTML editor on?
Thanks!

blurbadmin, you need to use your HTML editor buttons for bold, italic, etc. Typing HTML codes into an HTML editor will just display the codes you type.

Thanks John,
I tried using the HTML editor buttons of my e-mail service (hotmail), but this code was lost when it was posted on my blog…
Thanks!
