  I’d like to start using the post by email function, and wondered what the exact code is for the following:

  1. Upload and set a featured image for a post.
  2. align an image to the right/left/centre within a post
  3. Update, add or delete text widgets

  I’d be very very grateful for help with the following. I blog from a country where wordpress is blocked so need as much help as I can get.

  This has the email short codes, they should allow you to format your mailed in Posts:

  I’m already familiar with that page, can’t see any option for featured image there. Maybe it is impossible?

  Post by email is exactly that. It allows you to post to your blog by email. There’s no way to deal with Admin functions like configuring widgets by email.

  As far as centering images or making one the featured image, I’d suggest that directly to WordPress.com Support http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
