  I can’t post by email. Site tells me it’s enabled but emailed test post isn’t showing up.

  Will you please post the error message you receive here?
  Are you aware that your blog URL is now https://thejackalsmark.wordpress.com/
  Staff has been implementing the more secure https:// URLs and that may be your issue. Try changing the URL to the one with https://
