Post by email not being published even though email server logs indicate OK

    Hello,
    im trying to post by email from address from=<www-data@XXXXXX> to=<(email visible only to moderators and staff)> in my blog. Although my server logs indicate that the email has been accepted by your system, posts are not published.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    What e-mail client were you using when sending the post by e-mail? and what was the title of the post?

    Hi, i used php mail function and the title was a generic one, something like “Honda CBR, ficha tecnica”. I’ve been doing the same for a couple of months. The only diference is that the ip of my server has changed and then it stopped working.

    I have been posting from gmail for ages. Then, it stopped working ~28 hours ago.

    @motofotoes It seems the e-mail were marked as spam. Are you using a script to sent these e-mails? or has anything else been changed recently, except for the IP address?

    @kardotim, many thanks in advance for your assistance. I have a private blog and rather not post the URL here. Since others started having the same issue around the same time, i.e. ~24 hours ago, please do kindly let us know the ETA for a fix.

    Yes, i forgot to mention, the “from” is different as i set up a new server in a new company. I checked my ip and is not marked as spam. The software is the same. I dont know if a feature like white lists is available in wordpress. I don’t spam, i email 8-12 updates per day.

    I am having the exact same issue with my blog (I was just beginning to experiment with the Post By Email function and only got it to work once out of many attempts). It even failed when I used regular gmail to send the message.

    Looking forward to a resolution of this issue, thanks again in advance!

    You do not have a blog linked to your username and you did not post the blog URL starting with http:// Please do that now.

    That’s weird.
    When I go to my blogs Dashboard->Users->Personal Settings my blog is selected as a primary blog.
    It’s also selected as a primary blog in Dashboard->My blogs

    Either way my address is http://kidstrangelove.wordpress.com/

    @motofotoes you are using www-data as a username for sending out e-mails, this is blocked by us. Please change this username to something else. Also the post by email messages you’re sending are all containing links to a single site. Our system indicates such behavior as spam. You can read more about this in our Terms of Service: http://en.wordpress.com/tos/

    For all the others with issues: we don’t have any outstanding issues, nor do I see your post by email’s stuck or marked as spam in our system. Please contact us separately by e-mail so we can better troubleshoot the issue individually.
