Post by email without a subject or title

I’m playing with putting up a microblog using wordpress.com. As the posts are short and ‘tweet-like’ I don’t want titles on the posts.
That’s no problem using the WP web interface but I would also like to post by email. However, when doing so, the email method always adds ‘(No Subject)’ as the post title. I tried using the ‘[title]’ shortcode to the email which does work to add specified title instead of the email’s ‘no subject’ line but it still requires adding a title.

Is it possible to add a character or something to either the [title] shortcode or email subject so the post will not have a title? Or is there another trick that can be used to do this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Note: the listed blog above is actually not the one I need help with (that is just a ‘traditional’ blog).
