Post by voice help.

    I am having post by voice problems. I no longer have the phone number saved into my old phone for the post by voice service. It would appear these instructions are incorrect/out-dated: http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-voice/

    Is this still a feature that is available to me? I need to know the number and to regenerate my code.

    I still see the post by voice options for my blog.

    When you go to this page: https://usedandfedupnomore.wordpress.com./wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs

    You should see a list of your blogs. The column furthest to the right is for post by voice. You should either have an “enable” button there or a phone number and an option to regenerate your code.

    Let me know if you see something different.

    Nope, that is nothing like what I see. First the link you gave brings me back to the log-in screen, and I can’t seem to log in that way. But when I go to the page I am 90% sure you are talking about (my sites) I have a couple lines that show my blogs. Under each one is options/hyperlinks. They are “Dashboard” “Stats” “Posts” “Pages” “Change theme” “customize” “Sharing” “Domains” and above that is “Add a new post”. There is nothing further to the right of any of this.

    The problem is there are two pages on WordPress.com that do similar things. The “my-blogs” page is the one I’m talking about and the “my-sites” page is the one you are talking about.

    To get to the post-by-voice info you have to get to the my-blogs page on your dashboard.

    Try this instead.

    From the “my-sites” page, click on the “dashboard” link under the blog you want to be able to post by voice to.

    Then, from the menu on the left side of the dashboard screen click “my blogs” If you click “dashboard” at the top, “my blogs” should be the 4th option from the top (not counting “dashboard” itself)

    That should take you to the page I was talking about that has the “post by voice” options.

    If that doesn’t work, it is likely you are logged into an account that is an editor, not an administrator for the blog in question. Did someone set up the site for you, or is it possible you have another username and password?
