Post categories

    I have assigned Categories to my Posts. I wish to have two lists of posts in my site’s Footer 1 and Footer 2 repsectively, using the Recents Post widget. Despite applying the Category settings in the widget’s Visibility option, both Footer 1 & 2 display on Posts from the ‘default’ News category. The theme I use is Baskerville 2 for WordPress.com, though the proble is noted in other themes too. Can you help please?
