  1.How does the “general public” post a comment at my blog (without replying to any existing comment)?
  2.How can I put the description/purpose of my blog/club at the front/home page?
  3. Can I put several photos at my front/home page for free?

  Visitors to your site can leave a comment by clicking on the “Leave a Comment” link below each of your posts.

  There’s a few ways to add a description of your site to your homepage. You can either add it as your site’s tagline, depending on the length. This can be updated via your Settings -> General page.

  You can also add a sticky post with a welcome message. Sticky posts are blog posts that are always displayed at the top of your posts page:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-visibility/#sticky-posts/

  Lastly, you can enter a description in a text widget:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/
