  Words (letters) are not being displayed as I write them down before I the post goes live. However, when I look at the actual blog I can see what I wrote.

  This has happened several times during the last two weeks.

  I am not well versed in managing blogs, but I am learning as I go along, so I would greatly appreciate your help please!

  You are posting to the wrong support forum. We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. Your site is not hosted by wordpress.COM and you are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
