  Have created a new home page using the Appleton theme and have assigned it as the new home page under the reading settings, along with a blog page.
  I kept the original home page as a fall back template and have called the new home page index-with a header and footer only layout.
  However, when I make changes to this new home page-the post content block is kinda there on the page. This index page will not be static as it will display posts in a post carousel. Is it normal to have this post block with paragraph text on this new home page? Do I just work around this post content block? The default home page doesn’t.
