Post contents missing after publish
-
Hello. I would like to ask for assistance regarding the missing contents we have encountered in our site. We have the contents by Feb. 27 and published it Feb. 28. During that time, the contents are okay. But on March 1 around 3pm JST, the contents are missing. By the way, we are using Advanced Custom Fields ACF for the contents. We are wondering how it happens. Since the team haven’t updated the post and just change it from draft to publish. We haven’t touched the server as well. We have the log and revisions but based on the log, there were no deleted contents. If you could just give us any parts to check or possible reasons why it occurs is already a big help.
We greatly appreciate your help. Thank you very much.WP.com: Yes

Hi there:
To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:
- The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
- WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
- WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.
Since the site you linked to – etmjcloud.wordpress.com – does not have a Business Plan that would allow you to use plugins like ACF, it sounds like your site is not hosted here. Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.
The good news is that because you use the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com), help is available at the community forums here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The folks in the open-source forum are more familiar with these issues and are in the best position to help.
I hope this points you in the right direction.

Sorry I wasn’t able to clarify which WordPress we are using.
The site is hosted and has a limited access to the company I’m working with.
Anyone with access can add/edit/update in the site and we are the one who handles the maintenance of the site. But we cannot verify the problems they encountered.
They suggest to contact the support team of WordPress. -
Hi there!
In this case, you can post on the WordPress.org support forum here. Folks there won’t have access to your site, so it won’t be hands-on support, but they can help troubleshoot issues and suggest the next steps.
You can, of course, consider moving your site to WordPress.com to have us help you, but as far as your immediate issue is concerned, we are unable to help as your site isn’t hosted by us at WordPress.com.
