Post date and order

  Hi,
  I am not on wordpress.org so plugins and CSS aren’t my friend atm. I am trying to hide the post date – is this possible? can I every change it to make it recent? Can I change the order of posts, so that older ones can appear on the homepage/most recent list?

  Do you have the Custom Design upgrade? You cannot hide the post date without it.

  You can change the order of posts by editing the time/datestamp, in the right hand sidebar of the Edit Post page.

  Ok, if I get the custom upgrade then in wordpress.com (not.org) I can hide post date?
  The number of comments on each post is also not being hidden, even though I went into the reading settings and unchecked this? Thanks

  Also, if I change the date, will it re-send to my followers thinking it is a new blog?

  If you change the post slug, rather than the date, it will re-send.
