Post-dating content from another blog

  Before starting my own blog, I submitted posts to a “community” blog. Now I would like to add those posts to my blog. But I would like them to appear in their right chronological place (that is, 2011 and 2010) and I don’t know how to adjust the time on my blog to do that. Thanks.

  Did you already import the posts?

  If not, the date’s will come over correctly if export/import via the Tools section of the blogs’ Dashboards.

  Thanks, but I don’t have many of the admin capabilities at the other blog – my dashboard there does not have the import/export tools.

  Well, you could copy and paste each post, then edit the post and adjust the published date via the Publish box to the right, but that’s a rather lengthy process if you have quite a few posts.

  It’ll be much easier if you could just bug the admin for an export of only your posts.
