Post didnt show after publish

    I’ve created a post and select only child category. So in edit mode content was visible but after publishing the article, no content is showing. Then I selected parent category and set it as primary then content was render fine. So can anyone tell me how is it possible? Is there any kind of functionality or setting that I need to know about categories?
    And another things is that, when only child category selected I also didn’t get any response from wp post. no data in $post. but still it should render broken html on page but it didn’t show anything.
