I just completed a post using your short post format and when i published it there was nothing there but the title! I sincerely hope i don’t have to redo the whole thing. This is unacceptable.

Can you give me more detail about the post? Do you either have the link to it or recall the title? For your latest “Fly Jamaica” post, I see there is an very similar (if not identical) one in the “trash” for your site ( https://anniepaulose.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=trash&post_type=post ).

Yes, obviously i trashed the missing post and redid it because i’m trying to keep up with NoBloProMo which requires a post a day. As you can tell I’m not a novice at posting on WordPress, i was using the short new post feature, composed my post on Word then transferred it to WP, added photos, edited several times and hit publish. when i clicked on view post, lo and behold all there was was the title and the tags i’d placed on it. Unfortunately I hadn’t saved my Word file so had to recreate it. what puzzled me was that there were no previous edits saved that i could go back to. I’ve had problems with the short post feature and am going to avoid it like the plague in the future.

Thanks for the additional information. I’ll work on recreating the issue with the tool you used. Especially if you are posting from Word, I do suggest using the “old” long-form editor at https://anniepaulose.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
