Post displaying prematurely, same post linked in the wrong places in widgets

Starting earlier today, a post that is scheduled for two weeks from now (May 9) is displaying on the home page. It is also the only post that is linked for each of the Authors shown in the Authors widget. For awhile earlier today the same post was the only one linked in Recent Posts widget (nine times!)
I have made the May 9 post Private to try to keep it from being visible to the public ahead of schedule. It will be interesting to see what happens when tomorrow’s (totally different) post goes live.

I’m not seeing any of the behaviors you outlined above on your site right now. Are you still having issues with this? What was the title of the post that was erroneously posted so I can take a look?

Hi, the problem cleared itself up spontaneously late yesterday. The name of the post is Interview with Amanda Broder. It was still displaying on the home page even after another post published on Tuesday morning. No idea what happened, there were no changes made by blog members. Thanks anyway.

I’m so glad that sorted itself out! Let me know if anything happens like that again! We’ll definitely want to hunt that down and fix it.
