Post editor

The way format shown in the Post Editor when I’m writing the post is not how it appears on my blog. Within the post I can post multiple pictures side by side. However, on my blog it will change to reflect one individual picture/image directly under another. This messes up the reading flow of the post and creates an excess of blank space. In the past I thought there was an editing option for the Text Alignment of each image where you could choose to have the text writing on the right or left side of the image so it’s all embedded together almost. I don’t see that option anymore. It places one picture on each line regardless of size and the text has to go above or beneath picture, I’m not able to get them to comingle. Hope this makes sense.

    Hey Ebony!

I have a suggestion for you that will help you neaten up those images, place them side-by-side, and that will encourage a nice flow to your site.

Instead of placing these images one after the other (which is read by different browsers in different ways, and won’t always be consistent), I think you may like to add a gallery of images. You can do this so they appear side by side as thumbnails, or in really lovely mosaics, or even a slideshow.

Here is more information about adding your images as a gallery to your post:

Why don’t you give that a try and see if you can create the beautiful layout that you really want? If you get caught on any of the steps, just let me know what you’re trying to accomplish and I’ll help further!

Thanks so much. Best to you.
