post emailed with featured photo

When I public a post, an email is sent to my followers.
The problem is that the email contains a photo of the author, but I would like that it included the post’s featured image instead.
Is it possible? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there!
I have two suggestions for you:
This first is that your featured image should be at least 1102 px in width for it to display properly. I notice the images in the last posts are smaller.
The next is to add a large image in the content of your posts. The largest image tends to be grabbed from your post in order to populate the email.
Please give this a try and let me know how it works out. Looking forward to hearing from you. All the best.

Hello,
I´ve tried, but it doesn´t work. The email still contains the photo of the author.
What it does is it displays the photo as the header of the post, but not on the email.
Any other suggestions?
Thx

Hey again,
Would you do me a favor and take a screenshot of the email for me, so I can see exactly how it’s viewed by your readers?
You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.
The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:
Just let me know when there’s something I can take a look at.
Thank you!

Hello!
here you can find the link and see how the emails are sent: https://compatia.files.wordpress.com/2015/01/captura-de-pantalla-2015-01-19-a-las-13-19-01.pngThe image show is the Author’s, me.

Hey there!
Thank you so much for the image. That illustrated the issue for me!
Your author image will always appear next to the post’s title/byline. If you would like a larger, post-related image to show up as well, you will need to add an image to the post. The featured image will not display. It needs to be an image added directly to the content of the post.
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
