Post emails to subscribers
-
when I publish a post, it emails my subscribers from saying its from wordpress.com and not my domain, thebakerspantry. How do I change this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Shannon, that’s because your readers are subscribed through wordpress.com. WordPress.com will send out new post email notifications with single template for everyone and there’s no option to modify/change the design.
If you wish to use custom branding or template, you can consider mailchimp, which is 3rd party email subscription service.

Thanks for your response! I took a bit of a break from my blog and never had this happen before, but its been a few years. My email posts always came from thebakerspantry. I will look into Mailchimp, but does it make a difference if I upgrade to the premium wordpress service?

No it’s not, wordpress would still send the same email template, there’s nothing we can do about it since it’s purely for notification purpose.
I believe you can export the subscribers to mailchimp, but please note that mailchimp only support limited numbers of subscribers and it’s a paid service once you go beyond the limit.

Ok thanks. So if a reader doesn’t choose to subscribe when the mailchimp pop up option comes up, is the only other way for them to subscribe through the WordPress template?
