Post Excerpt

  Currently, the posts on the recent posts page are all the full posts. How does one make it so that only a post excerpt shows?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  See the options under “Blog display” at Customize > Content Options.

  Ok, sounds good. I am in baskerville (free version). I changed the Customizing / Content Options / Blog Display to “post excerpt,” but i need to modify the except which was automatically chosen.

  Can I do that. ??

  You can set a Custom Excerpt when editing your post :)

  Hello, I have the same problem – and I can’t find where Customise/Content Options is.

  If I go to Appearance/Customize, Content Options isn’t, erm, an option!

  andiepasdedeux – Content Options is not available in every theme, and isn’t an option in Nucleare. You can use the More tag method instead. If you need further help, could you please start your own thread and provide a link to your site?
