Post Excerpt

    When I go to Customizer -> Content Options -> Blog Display

    It says:

    Choose between a full post or an excerpt for the blog and archive pages.
    Full post
    Post excerpt

    When I chose Post Excerpt. One of my posts has an actual excerpt and it says “continue reading” on the bottom. My other post just says “This is the post excerpt.” and there is no actual excerpt. Anyone have an idea why that’s happening?

    Hi there,

    That text is coming from the separate Excerpt module to the right of the post editor, under More Options.

    Excerpts

    If text from the Excerpt module is deleted, and Post Excerpts are set to display in the Content Option settings, then excerpts should appear with a “continue reading” link.

    If that doesn’t work, please post a URL to the page where the excepts do not appear correctly, and we can take a closer look.
