  I am trying to figure out 2 things.

  1. Why my featured images are not showing. The current images are embedded into the post.

  2. How do I make the homepage only show an excerpt of my post as opposed to the entire thing.

  Hi jazzayers,

  1) Have you selected a featured image for each post? If you’re not sure how to do it, give this support page a read: https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image

  2. You need to add ‘Read More’ tag for each post. Take a look at this support page on how to set this up: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/
