Post excerpts under static paragraph on Home Page?

  On my Home Page I have a short paragraph about the site. I would like to have post excerpts from my blog page underneath this paragraph. Is this possible with the free Dara theme? If so, how would I go about setting this up?

  Huge thank you for any help with this.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Consult the detailed theme description page https://wordpress.com/theme/dara

  This is a one or the other situation. You have two choices on any blog
  (1) All posts on the front page ie. the Home page and by default that is the URL of the site.

  (2) A static front page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ and all posts on a different page.

  Hi @2mackstudios!

  If you’d like to include a list of posts in a specific page, you can use the Display Posts Shortcode.

  That code will pull in a list of your recent posts. You can use the different parameters for the shortcode to control how they are displayed (like including excerpts, for example) :)
