Post Excerpts Within Category Group

    I have followed the excerpt instructions for posts (written in the excerpt box and directed summaries to be used under “reading”), but my posts still show in their entirety when a category group is opened. I wish it could just show the featured image and title so it could show a list of grouped posts more efficiently. Is there a way to do this?

    Hi there!

    The actual best way to do this would be to use the Display Post shortcode instead of category pages. You can read the description of the shortcode including some modifiers here:

    This code may be what you’re looking for:

    [display-posts include_excerpt="true" category="difficulty" image_size="thumbnail" ]
