Post featured image header without css
-
The featured image of each post becoming a kind of thumbnail for the post page is a really nice idea. I’m having a little trouble juggling the fact that the thumbnails on the post page are square but the header images for the posts on each individual page is very rectangular.
I’ve found the ways to fix this problem using CSS. My problem is that, while I’m sure the premium fee is reasonable, it is unattainable for this project.
Is there any way to make the square thumbnail and the rectangular header play nicely together without needing to get into the CSS? Or is that beyond the scope of the free blog version of the template?
Thanks so much for your input.

Quick update: if you visit the site, I have switched to another template, to get the information live as quickly as possible. I do still like the Pictorico template, however, and would like to return to it, if the header issue can be solved without css access.

The answers are no and yes respectively.

Thank you for your input. I had that suspicion, but just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.
