  My post only shows a summary of the post on the feed on my blog homepage. It is only showing text and not a picture. How can change the settings so the picture and a longer portion of the blog post will appear without the user having to click “continue reading…”?

  The theme you are using Fresh and Clean displays only the beginning of posts on the front page of the blog. That’s the way it is designed and you cannot change that. However, the theme has an active excerpt box below the post editor. You can switch to the HTML editor and copy and paste the code into that box including a thumbnail sized image and your own excerpt as opposed to having the theme automatically displaying the beginnings of your post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/
