post format is gone, why?

  i had once all the option through the “post format” resource and, as of now, none of them have survived, apart “standard” and “gallery”. why? why have they gone away? how can i have them back? i had all the 8/9 element of post format and now only two! why??

  Did you change your website theme recently?

  Certain themes support different post-formats.

  Here’s a chart that tells you which formats are available in which themes:

  Your current theme, Rowling, only supports the Gallery post type, but if you select a new theme, you may have others available.

  Hello melindahelt and thanks for your answer!

  I knew that some theme only supported a few option of Post Format, but i’m using Rowling since the first day of my blogging adventure and i have ever had all of the option. Now suddenly, starting from this night, only two option have remained and none of the others are there anymore. I thought it has been a kind of limited-try with full resource available, like “we let your try all of the tools from post format in order to make you experience with those elements and as the first week is done we take ’em off”. So maybe it was a limited-try included in the first 10 days of Rowling use.
