post formats in Lovecraft

  I thought theme Lovecraft had several post formats: aside, gallery, sticky & so on, i.e. the usual ones. But it have only two (aside & standard). Is that the wy it is or there’s something wrong I’m doing?

  You are not doing anything wrong. Lovecraft theme is showing only two post formats in the editor.

  Lovecraft theme is filtered for post formats search in Theme Directory: https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/post-formats/

  So I presume this theme supports post formats but it is not showing all of them neither in classic nor in beep beep boop editors.

  I tagged this post for staff’s attention to confirm.

  Meanwhile you change to a different theme, edit the post and set the post format you need, and switch back to Lovecraft. I tested this with a sticky post and it works :)

  I forgot mentioning the “change” to only 2 postformats happened after some days I started with the theme. OK I’ll do as you suggest for a while. Many thanks!

  Hi there – Lovecraft only supports the Aside format in addition to the Standard format, as you can see on our table here:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-formats/

  I’m not sure what you recall seeing earlier, but it looks like you only switched to Lovecraft a few weeks ago, is it possible maybe you’re thinking of your prior theme?
