Post Formatting

  I’m currently using the Colinear theme. On the main page, I’d like the posts to show the picture and a few sentences about the post and then a link saying ‘continue reading’ or something of the like. I’ve seen this format on many Blogs here. For whatever reason, despite playing with the settings I can’t get them to display in this nature. Instead, they continue to display the entirety of each post on the main page (thus making the front page very long.

  1. You will first need to add excerpts to your posts. You may check the following article on how to add excerpts to your posts:

  2. You will need to edit the content options of your site to show excerpts instead of full posts:
