post formatting gone bad
-
The last two posts on my blog are formatting badly, so that the width of the text area is narrower than it should be. Next to last post is half the normal width. And latest post is half that width… Please let me know how to fix that. Thank You. Nechama

Hello!
Couple options:
1. Try going through the dashboard–>post–>new post (the “classic” editor).
2. If you are cutting and pasting from an MS word document the layout may get messed-up. Try either typing it in the editor or copy and pasting from a text-editor.
3. If you typed it in the visual editor was any extra code added that could make it be squished? -
Worked when recreated post in classic. NO to 2 and 3. Does that mean I need to use classic from now on?

Unless someone else can jump in with another suggestion, classic would be the safer bet.

I do not think so. However, you can always access it by going to the dashboard–>post–>new post.

If you have problems with specific posts, always give us the URL to those posts, starting with http. It saves time.
In this case, http://nottheofficialenneagram.wordpress.com/2014/08/25/wings-type-7/
When you click to Edit the post, what post format does it say it’s in? It should be Standard. On the Settings->Writing page, have you clicked to select “WordPress should automatically correct invalidly nested XHTML?”
