Post Gallery display errors

  Hi! i am putting a photo gallery into a post and would like it to display as full size image slideshow. I select these options for the gallery, save as a draft, and preview the post, only to find that the slideshow is still displaying as thumbnail grid!!! i have tried reloading the editor and page to no avail. any suggestions?
