Post going directly to archives

  Hi,
  I have recently added a new category and nothing seems to be working. Every time I write a new post, it goes straight into the archives and does not show up on the page it is supposed to. It seems to be working when I previewed it only to disappear right after.
  Please help !

  What category? What page? What post?

  Please give us the exact URL of one of the posts you’re talking about, the category you used, and the URL of the page where you expect it to show up.

  Hi,
  This is the the category where I would like my posts to go to: http://lcogger.wordpress.com/french-iii-2/
  When I write a new post and select French III, it goes straight into the archives. I have had to use the modify to write the homework for my students.

  I would like my posts to appear like they do for the other categories (French AP and Spanish II)

  Today, I tried again with the following post:
  http://lcogger.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
  It did not post in French III.
