Post hidden on this forum

I wrote a post in this forum, it’s visible just when I’m logged in and it doesn’t show on front page.
This is the topic:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-email-the-author?replies=4
And this should be the post:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-email-the-author?replies=4#post-506136
What’s happening? -
This happens sometimes to many of us. Don’t take it personally! Somehow you are caught in their spam filter.
With support away, add a tag to the thread to say you are invisible. Add a modlook for staff to take note.
Or write your comment in this thread and I’ll add a link to the original thread.
-
I’ve never seen something like this in over a year here.
And worst: My first comment in this thread has also disappeared now.
Must be this spam filter.
The only difference between this post here and those that have been hidden is that they include codes (between backticks, as it must be).
Thank for your response, Tess. -
It happens regularly if you post more than one link or too much code. It’s nothing personal.
-
Really my contribution is now forbidden in that thread!
Well, I just wanted to contribute with this code for making a manually contact form:
<a href="mailto:COMPLET EMAIL ADRESS HERE" target="_blank" title="TEXT TO SHOW WHEN MOUSE HOVER">TEXT OR IMAGE TO SHOW HERE</a>
(I hope this will be shown now … ?) -
Seems in this thread is all right.
My first post in the other thread has three links, sure this was the problem.
I will not add too many links never more! I’ve learned.
-> Resolved
Thank you both for your kindly help. -
No, it does not seem to make a difference now.
A few months ago it did, and if a person commented to often, then the comment would be invisible.
Lately, that is not the case.tess

@ludusnaturae – The bad news part of the
mailtois that your email is hanging out on the web – I have a couple of sites that use that and it did not take the spam bots long to find the new email and start sending junk. I have some friends that use that and they now get a ton of spam at themailtoaddresses. -
It’s always best to use the contact form shortcode, which apparently can now even be used in a text widget. I tried it and it works in text widgets.
-
OK, it worked in one of my test blogs, but I just tried it in another, and it did not work.
Consistency is a moving target apparently.

@ auxclass & Richard
Thank you for the warning.
I saw this code on Spanish forum, I should warn there.
