In my blog published articles are shown in their whole length on the main page (or the category page where they belong). Instead, I would like to make a “cover” image that represents a post and after clicking it you can read a whole article. Can anyone help me? :)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No, I think it’s not this one.
The one you are referring to is a picture within a post. What I am looking for is this:
you come to the main site of the blog and [and this is what I am looking for] you see articles with only a header and photo. If you want to read it you need to click on a header/photo and that directs you to the page with a whole article.

For now, what I have is the whole article displayed on the site.

  • Hi there,

There is not an option or setting you can use to set that up on your site, as your theme (Plane) is designed by default to show the full blog post.

However, what you can do is add a single image to your blog post (ahead of all other text) followed by the More Block, and then add the rest of your text for the post.

What the More Block does is add a “continue reading” link on your main blog page (and category pages) and hides anything that appears after it. In this way all posts on your site will show only an image, followed by a link to continue reading… and then to see the rest of the blog post visitors will have to click to continue.

Info on how to add the More Block here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/more-block/

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
