Post image not appearing in WordPress Reader
-
Hi,
I made a post today and when I saw it in the reader I realized it wasn’t displaying the image, only text. This hasn’t ever happened before and I’m just wondering if there is a way to fix it.Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Chelsea,
Thanks for getting in touch! This is the second example of this behaviour that my colleagues and I have seen this morning, and we’re talking to our developers about it. It looks like images which are small enough that they should be made in to thumbnails on the Reader (smaller than 594 pixels wide) are not doing so.
Like I said, we’re working on it, but in the mean time you can try one or two things to get the image back on the Reader where it belongs. You can try uploading a slightly bigger version of that first image (yours is currently 540 pixels wide, so it only needs to be a bit bigger, maybe even just a white border around it). You also could try setting it as a Featured Image. The Reader usually picks those up automatically, so that could work for you! You can do so by editing your post and then adding it in the lower right hand corner of the post.
Let me know if either of those work in the mean time, and I’ll let you know as soon as I have any information for you!
Also, PS, I wanted to let you know that I really loved your blog. You’re ENTIRELY too crafty by half . . . it makes me feel really bad for all of the projects which I’ve started and never finished! ;) It’s great stuff though. Well done!

Haha thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Also, I uploaded a larger image and that worked perfectly! Thank you for helping me fix my problem. :)-Chelsea

So glad to hear it! Also, for future reference we did fix that problem, so you should be able to upload any sized image going forward.
Have a great weekend!
