post images don’t appear on main page
-
Hello,
so, I just changed from Spun theme (which I loved, but nobody updates it any more. don’t know why cause there is no other theme like that) to Hatch, and some photos don’t appear on the main page.
how can I fix it? -
Hi –
Please share a link to your site so we can take a closer look at it. Thanks!
I think that you may actually be using the other version of WordPress though. That’s the open source software and help for it comes from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Thanks for the link.
I had a look and noticed that the posts that do not appear correctly on your homepage do not have a featured imaged set up. Open up the post in the editor and on the right sidebar click on Featured Image, add one and then Update the post. This should help.If you need more information, have a look at this page:

Thank you fresatomica !
now, how do I set the header menu all the same colour? I mean the font.
and still about the featured image, how do I exclude it from the simple post pages?
because if you enter in a post now, the image repeats itself.. :/again, thanks a lot!

These can be done, but only via CSS, which would require a Premium Plan or higher: https://wordpress.com/support/custom-design/custom-css/

that’s sad.
I am looking for a theme to substitute Spun, since it’s retired.
these black blue grey colours are so unaesthetic… and the repetition of the featured image (since I only have images) is unappropriated :( -
Not all themes display the featured image on single posts.
In general, I’d suggest having a look at other themes, there are some that were created especially for displaying portfolios, you can see those here. You can try the older themes without activating them by clicking on the three dots next to the theme’s name and choosing the option Try&Customize.
This will allow you to see how the theme would look like with your content and how could you customize it.
