Post in a mess after editing. Save button doesn’t work.

    I went to edit an old post a few hours ago and noticed that you had added extra features, like the visual edit mode. But when adding this, it seems it messed up the original way to edit. I switched over to code and made my changes. When I clicked save and was transferred to my blog, the post was in a mess! Everything was chunked together – no line breaks anywhere…
    So I went back into the code and added a few (br)’s and saved it again. No affect. I went back into the code and all the changes and line breaks I had added was GONE. It seems that everytime I click on SAVE it does the opposite – ignores my changes and restores the code back to where it was.

    I had the same problem earlier, this might sound crazy but shut down your internet (all tabs) and re-open, seems to work fine for me with Vista. You might be able to properly edit your post then or you may need to post, that post over, at least thats what I had to do. I am no pro,but I had this same problem about 5 or 6 hours ago.

    I don’t know why it didn’t have the visual mode before on your blog; it’s standard at WP.com. But there are lots of people reporting problems with line breaks tonight:

    So you might want to try editing the code and replacing the brs and using P or Div.

    mammalin, in order to switch off the visual editor and go back to the standard code editor you have to uncheck the “Use the visual rich editor when writing” option under “Users” > “Your profile” (don’t forget to click on “Update Profile »”). Editing the html with the code option of the visual editor is a painful experience… :-)

    My posts have been a mess as well. I am rather new to WordPress, but after making corrections in both tabs visual/code neither would save.

    I am also working on a new post and once I load a picture, it will not allow me to resize the picture. I take that back, I resized it, but then instead of making it smaller, it made it bigger and then when I went back to try and fix it again, it would not save any changes.

    What could I be doing wrong? In the previous posts, I mentioned, I tried adding spaces between paragraphs, but nothing would save.
