Post in only one page.
-
Hello,
I’d like to set up a specific post to appear only in a specific page and not in the other pages or in the front page.
I can’t find how to do that. I would also like to edit that same post in the future but I want it to only keep appearing in that same specific page.
How do I do this? thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You don’t want a Post. You want a Page. Just go to your dashboard and instead of clicking Posts->add new post, click Pages->add new.

I want a post within a page (I believe). I already have the pages I need. I want a post to appear only in one of those pages, not in the front page.
or am I confused? doesn’t a page allows me to add posts within it? Can a page work like a menu tab and help you keep your post organized regardless of their categories?
Tks -
Please be clear on the major differences between posts and pages:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
(just because a page is static, that does not mean that you cannot change it)You can post to the one and only dynamic page. The front, or home, page is dynamic because it changes each time you add a post. The posts have dates and can be tagged and/or categorized.
With a custom menu, you can link to a post or a page or another place online.
