Post Issue

  Hi!

  So, my posts, when I select publish now, immediately go to scheduled, even though I choose to publish them right after writing them. Also, after they do post, they have not been showing up in reader, and when they finally do appear, it is many hours later.

  Hello @kimberlypitzrickwriter,

  Go back to where your post is, click on edit, to the right hand side of the edit screen, look for the “Status and visibility” option. Click on that and be sure your post is on “Publish Immediately” and “Public” view is selected.
  This setting should allow you to publish immediately and not redirect to a scheduled post.

  Make sure your blog’s privacy settings are set to Public. Doing so will allow your posts to show on the reader as well. (https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/)

  Hello there,

  Thank you for responding, but my settings were already set to what you’ve suggested. Also, the post I wrote this afternoon still does not show in my reader. I have posts set up to be published immediately and my posts are set to public. I’m still not sure what is exactly going on.
