Post landing for visitors…

  I’m working with the Oulipo theme. I created a site two years ago. Now, I can’t remember how I did some stuff. I created a post that was titled “Hello”. It was the first thing that visitors to my blog saw. I had three page names listed along the left side of my screen (x, y, z). I am having a heck of a time recreating this. My page name is over-riding my post, “Hello”, which I want to serve as a landing (or the first thing visitors see).

  Secondly, I had a .jpeg image that I wanted visitors to click in order to open a .pdf file. How does one do this?
