Post Likes not getting sent to correct person

I’ll try to make a long story short. Wife’s blog was hosted on wordpress.com initially. A few months ago, I moved it to self-hosted. Migrated all posts, pages, etc. to new site. That all worked well. Jetpack integration was put back into place.
When I setup the new site, I used a one click install on new host which put me as the site owner. I had all ownership moved to my wife, including the Jetpack ownership option.
She doesn’t get emails for post likes, but I do and we need to reverse that but cannot figure out where the problem lies. Anybody have any suggestions?
