  i am trying to index the posts i write by a simple link. I write book reviews and visited a different blog where the writer posted about a book and had an index. so the link to the post only showed the title and author – and it links right up. i can’t figure out how to do this?

  I believe you’re looking to create an archive page, which can be accomplished using the Display Post shortcode explained here:

  However, if you point me to the page you’re referencing, I’ll be able to get a better sense of what you’re looking to accomplish!

  sure so i set up a “page” on my site http://www.littlelionseyes.com titled “index” and i want to (your exactly right) archive each post there so that readers can find a book review faster! I tried to make sense of what you linked but i am hardly that tech savvy… laymen’s terms?
