Post link isn't working.

  My Facebook page does not properly link to my blog post. When a reader clicks on the FB post they get an error saying “Oops! That page can’t be found.” How do I correct this problem? Thanks!

  Hi there!

  Do you mean the Facebook share button at the bottom of your post? Or do you have another Facebook link somewhere? Can you give me a link to a page where this Facebook link is broken?

  It’s on my FB “A Shutter Life” page located here:https://www.facebook.com/ashutterlife. The post is titled “For Shoe Lovers Only! Week #5.” When you click on the post it goes to the WordPress error page. It appears that the link is no longer available via FB.

  You can fix this by changing the publish date of your post back to February 2nd. You can do this in the “Change Status” module in the editor:

  http://beta.drp.mk/i/4438

  Thanks a Bunch! It is working now; however, I have a question. I actually drafted that post on the 2nd and published it last night. Why did it record the publish date as the draft date? I also edited it last night before I published it.

  One more thing. I also noticed that my draft title was published on FB even after I edited it before publishing it. Why is that happening?

  Thanks for the details. That’s rather curious. I’ll do some testing and see if I can replicate the issue. Can you confirm which editor you were using? The WordPress.com editor:

  or the wp-admin editor:

  https://mjkinsey1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

  I am sorry, I don’t know. However, I have noticed that I get different pages depending where I am in the site. I almost always use my ashutterlife.com link and use the pencil icon in the top right corner. Occasionally, I’ll access the draft via the WordPress admin page. For the issue at hand I accessed my link on my iPad and drafted using the pencil icon.

  Thanks for those details! When you access a post directly through wp-admin, you’ll end up in the legacy editor. The pencil icon in the upper right should always take you to the WordPress.com editor.

  I know its a bit confusing at the moment, but it will all come together soon. :)
