Post links to social media

    How do I get the link on Facebook to a post on my site to show the ‘featured image’ assigned to the post rather than the logo of my site???

    Hi there,

    I do not see any sites under your @jazmckay WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

    Is it possible you created your site under a different login?  Is it the case that you are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

    Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.

    To have some measure of control over the previews social media sites show for your posts you’ll need an SEO plugin, like Yoast, or a plugin that at least generated Open Graph data for your site, like Jetpack. This isn’t something that’s built into the WordPress software.

    Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:
