Post Links to Sub-Pages in the Parent Page
-
Howdy folks,
I am working with the DePo Masthead theme and was wondering how to post a link to the sub-page in the parent page.
For example, the parent page is “UDR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES” and that shows at the top of my blog home page. What I want to do is once a tenant clicks on that parent page, I want them to be able to see a link to all the sub pages (for example: “Late Fees in Rental Agreements Are Illegal in California”) so they can choose which one they want to see. The way I have it now is the entire post is pasted into the parent page and it’s already overwhelming with only 4 articles.
Can someone help me with this? Thanks,
Erin

Try adding the pages widget, you can find it under appearance on your dashboard. It will show your other pages on the side bar.

Hi Erin, we (the volunteers) need the URL to your blog so we can find out if you’re in the right place… but I’m pretty sure this is it:
http://tenantadvocatesoforangecounty.wordpress.com/
Each page can be a parent to as many pages as you’d like. You can put the pages widget into your sidebar, but having an “Index” page might also help. Or even several Index Pages… kind of like a “Find Help Page”, or “How We Can Help You”, then have a page of internal links. You could also use the “sticky post” option, which would be kind of cool on the theme you’re using. Basically publish a post containing all of the links you want advertised, then make it a sticky by clicking on the appropriate box.
And don’t forget, WordPress allows you to have as many blogs as you’d like… so you can use the one you’ve got now as the splashpage, and have links to stuff on other blogs with easier to read themes.
Hope it helps… fight the power.
