  When I click a category, I’m shown only the most recent post and can only see one post at a time by clicking the “Older Posts” link. How can I make it possible for only the posts’ titles to be shown when one clicks a category? Do I have to get a new theme?

  What’s displayed on Categories and Archives pages which are automatically created by the software when we publish a post is theme dependent and we cannot edit templates or themes. In the majority of themes, posts on category or other archive pages show up just as they do on the main posts page. If you wish to have only post titles display on Categories pages then you will have to switch themes.   You will find some themes that provide what you want ie. post tiles only.
