  When you use URL as https://mysite.com/2009/09 , it shows all posts posted in that month. I want to disable this. I want user to see page not found error.
  How can I do this

  If you’re talking about the archives page that looks like this: http://mbopardikar.wordpress.com/2010/12/ then unfortunately this is not possible to achieve on wordpress.com. If you don’t include the archives widget then it is extremely unlikely that people will search this page directly. Why exactly do you want it hidden?
