Post my own blog photos elsewhere? Or Put back for printing?

    One of the reasons blog is to organise the tens of thousands of photos that I have taken.
    Most of these pics are backed up on external hard drives , in no particular order but on my blog I can use Categories to find certain images quickly.

    On occasion I want to post a copy of one of my photos on another website, not on public view but an art forum where we discuss inspiration and images on a theme , or I want to print a copy of a pic for a friend.

    Even if I go to my blog post and use ” save photo as” to put a copy back onto my hard drive, I can’t print it or post it elsewhere, …
    …I just get a small box with an “x” in it when I try. ALL of these photos are my own material so why can I not access them please?

    I asked the administrator of the art forum I tried to post to if the problem might be at his end, he said No… they seem to be garbled.

    I tried an image (that I am due to post on my blog soon) direct from my computer and that went fine, it’s only my blog photos that are the problem. What’s the point of me using WP as an “archive” for my photos if I can’t get them back when I want to???
