i have the soundcheck theme & the links for the recent post widgets don’t link directly to the corresponding page. Is there a way to click on the post & you are linked directly to the post.
please help

Hi there – I see that you’ve created a couple of posts to link to external sites, and then used the Featured Post widget to display those posts in your sidebar. You don’t need to do that – you could just link directly to the site using a Text or Image widget:

I have 2 other issues.
I upgraded & then cancelled since I realized what I needed I did not need an upgrade but then I had to pay $13 to keep my domain name but I already paid to have my domain & was using it before I even upgraded. Please help.Also can i make 2 pages for discography & by default they all go to the same page.
Please let me know.

Hi Rebecca – The $13.00 is the “domain mapping” fee, which is what it costs per year to use a domain with your WordPress.com blog if that domain is registered somewhere else.

I’m not totally sure I understand. Do you want to have a tab for discography and when people click on that tab, they see every post that has to do with discography? If so, you can set up a Category Page for discography. We have a guide explaining how to do this:

I understand the $13 domain mapping fee but if you look up my account i was already using my domain name mobilemondaysnyc.com. Then I bought & cancelled the upgrade & I was charged $13 for keeping my domain name which I already paid & was using. Please research
Also if you look at my page MM Radio, (not the link below it) you will see all the music in a certain format. I would like to make another page with the exact same format but its not allowing me. Do you understand? Is their a phone # for customer service?

Hi Rebecca – I see, you purchased the mapping back in September. I’ve refunded the $13.00 balance from your premium upgrade.
The thing that makes that page appear that way is the Discography page template:
https://cloudup.com/cRwdmWUXXJZYou can create a second page with the Discography page template, but it will display the same things. That page template automatically pulls all of your posts with the Audio post format:
Post FormatsThere isn’t any way to have some go to one Discography page and some to another.

I have a question about the image widget. I used the text widget for featuring the mobile manic but I would like to use the image widget but the picture does not center or I also can not write words on the side

Hi Rebecca – Why do you want to use the image widget over the text widget for that? The image widget only lets you put a title above the image and a caption below, nothing to the side. However, you can format a text widget in a bunch of ways, so if there’s something you’d like to alter about the way it’s appearing now, it might be possible. :)

another question, I have the media player & for some reason,
i am unable to download new music (mp3). I have never had an issue before. Can you check & see if there is some problem?Thanks

Hi Rebecca – Do you mean you’re unable to upload .mp3 files to your site? You need a space upgrade in order to upload audio, and you had one in the past. But when you upgraded to premium, that single upgrade was bundled into your premium, and it looks like when you canceled that, it canceled the space upgrade, too.

I downloaded a bunch of music & once it was downloaded, I checked each one & the music played. Now that I have checked them again not all of them play. How is that? I had this issue before & I deleted everything & just added new music.

Hi Rebecca – They all play for me, but I did notice that while I was checking them out, my internet connection slowed down for a bit. When that happened, some of them took a really long time to play. And then my connection picked back up again, and they all played just fine. Is it possible this is what was happening on your end?

When I post the mobilemondaysnyc.com website on Facebook, an image does not pop up. The link preview option does not work. How do I fix that?

Hi Rebecca – Try adding a Site Title and a Blog Image/Icon in Settings->General here:

There isn’t an option to hide it for your theme. You could hide it using CSS if you had the Custom Design upgrade:
